What is Pony Club centre membership?
The centre membership scheme for riding school was set up by Pony Club in 1998. Bubbenhall Bridge Equestrian Centre has been a member for several years. It was introduced so that children without their own pony could take part in Pony Club activities. This has enabled us, as a riding school, to offer the children a chance to train for the pony club stable-management and riding test.

Children can be tested in riding from bronze 3 level up to the B test and achieve badges showing their skills in stable-management and other skills. There are currently 29 badges for such skills as equine first aid, tack cleaning and bird watching. There are also 12 mini badges for our younger and new riders, these include feeding a pony, grooming and farming.

How to Join
New pony club membership is available to children and young people up to the age of 21. Membership is £22.00* per year and includes public liability insurance for members at UK centres.
Membership forms are available at Bubbenhall, just ask a member of staff. Once received a members pack will be sent to you.

The Pony Club at Bubbenhall
We have approximately 70 members at the riding school. We encourage all our riders to join as riding ability is assessed in our weekly lesson. We organise a special day in the school holidays to achieve the stable-management badges.
